New Opportunity – Client On-site Workforce Manager – Tuscaloosa Area Client

Looking for an On-site-Manager to support one of our large volume customers as a member of our Client Service Team. You will support an assigned Client with our temporary employees, handling the day-to-day operations and will work closely with the Client to ensure measurable results. Must possess and demonstrate a high-level of professionalism and customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced industry. Previous experience as an On-site Manager or Supervisor in Staffing, Human Resources or Customer Service is preferred.
Do you have what it takes to be an On-Site Manager? If so, can you:
1. Are you service oriented? Must maintain customer satisfaction by handling all inquiries and deliver a high level of responsiveness and customer service.

2. Can you manage people and activities? Must effectively plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environments. Must manage day-to-day operations at on-site location, including daily check-ins and verifications of headcount, new hire orientations and pre-training with temporary staffing employees, coach and counsel temporary employees, facilitate new hire orientations and assist with new employee introductions.

3. Are you an effective listener and have a sense of urgency about your work? Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to communicate with customer contacts to ensure labor requirements are consistently met each day, and that all new job orders are filled.

4. Can you be accountable? Must regularly conduct business review meeting with client to ensure consistency, quality, and continuous improvement. Must perform quality control functions to ensure the customer is satisfied across all levels of their organization.

5. Can you think outside the box? Development of recognition and retention strategies to reduce turnover.

6. Do you have a college degree and or 5 or more years of the right experience? Must be able to hire and manage warehouse, forklift, and general light industrial temporary staffing employees?

7. Are you flexible and can handle pressure? Must be highly energetic and flexible to work early morning hours and or occasional late evening hours to meet customer service requirements. Must be able to work in a fast passed and or work under pressure and meet deadlines?

8. Are you technology oriented? Must be comfortable with computers and various programs including Microsoft, timekeeping and human resource operating platforms.

International leader in the logistics industry, with a large high volume automotive logistics operation in West Alabama, is seeking qualified Production Group Leaders for operations and material management positions.  Multiple shifts available.  Must have a flexible schedule and allow for overtime.

Essential Credentials:

  • Proven experience in managing a large group of people in an industrial operation.
  • Successful experience in troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
  • Able to function in a high paced, diverse production environment.
  • Understanding of scheduling, material management, and production control functions in an industrial environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Logistics operations management experience.

Automotive Team Leader

Automotive supplier in Vance, AL, is seeking to fill Team Leader positions.  Positions are full time, temp-to-hire.  Starting rate of pay is $13.50/hour.  All shifts available.  Must be able to work unexpected overtime.   Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead 10-15 team members in a fast paced industrial environment.  Need a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory position, preferably in the automotive industry.
